trying to place Moses and Elijah on the same level as Christ.

came…. Who would that have been?

In vs. 15 What could the disciples not do? Cure the son and
cast out the demon
What had the
disciples done earlier? Read Matt. 10:5-8 Healed the sick,
Raised the dead, Cleansed
lepers and Cast out demons.
This is one year later since Chapter
10……Why couldn’t
they perform miracles in this situation?

of faith

their faith in? Themselves and their own
abilities

When we ask for anything according to HIS will, HE hears
us.
Sometimes we may want something to
happen, but if it’s not according to HIS Will – it can’t happen. This is why we “ask/request/pray” and then we
“trust” God to respond according to HIS Will….not ours.

Jesus remind them of again in vs. 22-23?
HIS death and
resurrection
